Join the station on the first three Saturdays of December for a series of magical holiday performances featuring a festive quartet of Verdigris Ensemble carolers. These festive evenings will take place in the open-air amphitheater outside the Angelika Film Center, located at 5321 E Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75206, on December 7, 14, and 21 at 5:00 p.m. Holiday Caroling at Mockingbird is free to the public and is the perfect one-of-a-kind holiday caroling experience to enjoy with friends and family.

Guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks while being serenaded by the stunning four-part harmonies of the Verdigris Ensemble. These talented carolers will fill the shopping center with the beauty of traditional holiday songs and seasonal favorites, spreading warmth and joy to shoppers and diners alike.

CC Young and WRR invite you to kick off the holidays with a medley of holiday carols with performances by Orpheus Chamber Singers and The Texas Boys Choir.

The event will be in The Point Auditorium on CC Young’s campus at 2 p.m. on December 11, 2024.

Orpheus opens their 30th anniversary season with works written to mark specific occasions, large and small. The program includes works by Uģis Praulinš, Johannes Brahms, Carlos Cordero, and Ayanna Woods, and will also feature a world premiere by the winner of our 30th anniversary student composition competition, Maxwell Kaye.

This concert is presented by St. Martin’s Episcopal Church and is open to the public.

Inspired by the rich tradition of the Black spiritual—a moment when a voice rises above the noise to express a deep truth—ARIA is an enduring performance using classical and contemporary music with the powerful storytelling of Black vernacular photography.

This collaboration with the Juneteenth House at 10th St Neighborhood Center is partially supported by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.

IN CONCERT: One Accord Men’s Chorus
This concert is in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the South Dallas Concert Choir’s Artistic Director, Afrelynn Roberts, celebrating the accomplishments of her work with SDCC. The concert will feature pianist and conductor, John Tatum, soloist, Johnny Brown, and the One Accord Men’s Chorus. Spanning various musical genres, they are sure to mesmerize their audience!
