Johnny DeAndre Brown is one of the most in-demand performers in the DFW area. Mr. Brown has been featured with notable organizations including Dallas Opera, Fort Worth Opera, Fort Worth Youth Orchestra, Verdigris Ensemble, the Orpheus Chamber Singers, and the Dallas Bach Society. In 2016, he was awarded the Richard E McGinty Director Emeritus Award at the inaugural Houston Saengerbund Vocal Competition.
His stage credits include Jack in Into the Woods, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Danny Zuko/Teen Angel in Grease, Andrei in Tchaikovsky’s Mazeppa, and Frederic in the Pirates of Penzanze.
Mr. Brown is known to perform with gospel, afrobeat, jazz, mariachi, and R&B bands as a vocalist, saxophonist, and percussionist. His upcoming engagements include concerts with the Allen Philharmonic, the Mansfield Philharmonic, with more announcements to come.
Mr. Brown studied Vocal Performance at Stephen F Austin State University and is a proud son of Fort Worth, TX. He currently resides in Dallas, TX, where he is a Teaching Artist with the Dallas Opera, and a full time husky dad.
